IRRIGATION NEWS
On October 17, 2024
Water will be shut down for the season.
We ask every resident at this time to close
the 2” valve in your backyard by October 19 in preparation for Cody water operators to blow down the main lines on the morning of October 20. Failure to close your valve causes us extended blow down times as we have to find and close the open valves.
Once we have completed our blow down, we will post a second notice here and on the website asking you to reopen your valve to prevent the possibility of a 2” valve freezing and breaking over the winter.
Thank you for your attention to this in a timely manner.

Cody HOA is not responsible for the repair of above ground irrigation pipes and valves. Any pipe above ground including the riser line for your personal yard and the 2" valve is your responsibility to maintain. Furthermore, any lines and valves on your side of the two inch valve are not the responsibility of CODY HOA to maintain. It is the property owner’s responsibility to make the necessary repairs. If a leak occurs in your yard and we cannot access the 2" valve the water will be shut down at the pump house and you will be contacted to shut off the 2" valve and so you may commence with repairs. Once the 2" valve is closed Cody HOA will recharge the system for the rest of the homeowners.
